Chef’s Hat Inc. began in 1996.  A chef by trade, Claude’s ambition was to produce and market the finest chef hat possible.  Many hours went into the production of a painstakingly perfect hat that was to be presented to the culinary world as La Toque Demagny®.   A European viscose material that is exclusive to Chef’s Hat, often copied but never equaled, is the mainstay of La Toque Demagny’s®  appeal providing  adjustable  sizing, comfort, and durability.   Fueled with the success of our chef’s hat we began providing chef apparel, and accessories along with embroidery services to complete the look of today’s culinary professional.
